Phantasm Weimaraners

Phantasm Weimaraners is based in Saint Joseph, Missouri, a short drive north of Kansas City. Established in 2009, we produce and show AKC Weimaraners with a focus on temperament, conformation, and health. We raise all of our puppies with Puppy Culture virtues and follow up with clicker training and positive reinforcement. Prior to litters being born, our dogs are health tested for hips, elbows, eyes, and genetic testing through the OFA and UC Davis to ensure that we continue to produce the highest quality Weimaraners we possibly can. It is always quality vs quantity here at Phantasm and producing the future of the breed that is functional, happy, and healthy is our main goal. We are active members of the Weimaraner Club of America and the Saint Joseph Kennel Club. My name is Mariah Benbeneck (Woods), and I am the face behind Phantasm Weimaraners. I originally started out in the AQHA world, showing Palomino Quarter Horses at the age of 13. Eventually, I got my first dog, a Labrador, who was anything but show quality. So I embarked into  AKC Junior Showmanship and from there, I got my first Weimaraner named JJ; the rest is history. I owe a lot of my knowledge and success to Doc and April Stewart for giving this "kid" a chance. Without them, I would not be where I am today. I am a proud preservation breeder and all of my dogs are family first. We strive for stable temperaments, sound minds, and above all, wonderful companions. I am looking forward to the future of my lines and everything that comes along the way with the journey. Stay tuned, we have big goals, dreams, and ambitions and we are ready to take the reins!
